Conflict of Interest Policy

Conflict of Interest Policy for judging ESA awards and abstracts

A potential reviewer should abstain if there is any of the below COI with the first author:

  1. Current or previous (within the last 3 years) supervision of the applicant in an academic degree or clinical training
  2. Co-authorship of papers within the last 3 years
  3. Working at the same department within the last 3 years (same university is allowed if different departments)
  4. A relative or friend
