WELCOME TO ANZPA 2023

On behalf of the Local Organising Committee we are delighted to invite you to attend to the next inaugural Australian and New Zealand Pituitary Alliance (ANZPA) meeting, to be held at the QT Hotel on the Gold Coast, Australia, 28th-30th July 2023.

ANZPA is a network of specialist consultants and trainees with an interest in pituitary medicine,, including endocrinologists, neurosurgeons, ENT surgeons, radiation and medical oncologists, pathologists and radiologists, with an interest in pituitary medicine. Our goal is to bring together multi-disciplinary expertise and foster discussions amongst ANZ clinicians in the diagnosis and management of complex pituitary disorders.   We hope to provide a platform for ANZ clinicians to present their research findings in pituitary medicine and facilitate future collaboration of research between different institutes.  Our meetings also aim to deliver education to our trainees, broadening their knowledge and confidence in managing pituitary disorders. 

For the inaugural 2023 meeting, our we are delighted to have assembled a panel of pituitary experts who will discuss a range of topics including the management of aggressive pituitary tumours, modern techniques and controversies in the neurosurgical management of pituitary disorders, recent seminal research in the field.

Researchers from Australia and New Zealand will also have the opportunity to present their findings and trainees will have a forum to present selected challenging pituitary cases for multidisciplinary experts discussion. Other educational symposia will focus on dynamic endocrine testing results for pituitary disorder, radiological techniques and interpretation, and, postoperative management. post pituitary surgery- interpretation and management (education topics are subject to change depending on the availability of the presenters). Finally, we hope the meeting will provide you with an opportunity to relax and catch up with your colleagues, whilst enjoying the sunshine, good food and scenery of the Gold Coast.
